Announcement
Brian and Sara Turner have been making art for decades. In 2003, they started Cricket Press from a tiny studio in their home of Lexington, KY. Together they have created their own unique and quirky vision of the world, translating their characteristic illustrations through the hand-printed processes of letterpress and screen-printing. When they’re not ruining their clothes slinging ink on paper, Cricket Press also spends time on numerous design and illustration projects, as well as making various hand-printed goods and hand-crafted items.
Their work is inspired by a wide variety of sources; books, music, movies, but also the natural landscapes surrounding them in their home state of Kentucky. By re-imagining wild places they visit, the environment becomes an important backdrop to the visual language and encourages the viewer to create their own meaning for the piece.

5 out of 5 starsThe colors are so vibrant and there is a depth to the the printing that is beautiful. Bought this as a housewarming gift for a friend and I can't wait to frame it so it can go on the wall!

5 out of 5 starsOn April 8, the mailperson ran up my driveway to deliver my package and look through my solar eclipse glasses. If the mailperson only knew that package handed over during the eclipse had the most beautiful view. Excellent quality and value.
